3D printing filaments absorb moisture from the air and deteriorate their quality. During printing with damp material you may hear a hissing or cracking sound accompanied by moisture vapor. The solution to this problem is to use a vacuum induction dryer. The dryer creates a vacuum by removing all air from the chamber and ensures evaporation of the water from the wet fibre. Low air pressure also improves drying and storage of the printing fibre.
Benefits
- High-quality steel construction
- Venting to prevent vapor condensation during firing (corrosion reduction)
- Heating from all sides, including the bottom
- Top insulating materials (low power consumption, possibility of rapid rise to the required temperature)
- Warranty: 24 months
100% dry
The drying mode can be used to completely dry the damp fibre. Built-in regulator, vacuum pump, induction heating unit and valves ensure a well-defined drying cycle.
Low power consumption
The use of a vacuum dryer significantly reduces performance requirements. This is due to the reduction of the desired drying temperature and to the drying time.
This dryer has a capacity of 2 spools with a diameter of 300 mm. If you use only 200 mm diameter reels, check the LAC F3D 200.
